The file will now be included in the file restoration. To re-select the file, replace the check mark. The file will now no longer be included in the restoration. To exclude a file, remove the check mark next to the entry. By default, all files and folders are selected for restoration. Once a folder is expanded, clicking on the sub folder will display its contents in the list view window. Double clicking on the folder will expand the folder's tree structure. Clicking on a folder will display the files and sub folders in the list view window. The directory tree structure will expand and you will see the folders included in the plan. To expand the directory tree structure and view the files and folders included in the selected backup version, click on the Arrow button to the left of the drive letter. Click on a Time Stamp to select the backup version you want to restore. If the file was saved to Cloud Storage only the most recent version will be available. Seagate Dashboard maintains multiple versions of the files so you can pick the most recent version or a previous version. The next step is to choose the backup version you want to restore. After you have made your selection, click on the Forward button to continue.
Once displayed, select the plan you want to use to restore your files.
If you have numerous backup plans and they are not displayed in the list, click on the Find Backups button to show all the plans stored on your drive. The Seagate Dashboard Restore screen provides a list of the active backup plans. The first step is to select the backup plan you want to use to restore your files from. You will begin preparing your file restoration from here. The Seagate Dashboard Restore page will launch. Next, click on the Protect button to navigate to the Dashboard's Restore page.
